Elisa - you continue to be spot on with the blogs you feature. Grace is an amazing writer, thought provoker, and woman. I've yet to see a post she's written that hasn't inspired me to take a step back, think, and respond. Anyone who can continually engage their readers to the point where they WANT to start a discussion is doing something right. Cheers to Grace, she has been the source of my inspiration many times.

Sam - Most definitely! I think as a blogging community we need to do an even better job of directing people to quality writers in a way that isn't just a blogroll. I'm looking forward to your first #BlogCrush!

Rebecca - And thus it's not really any surprise that you were my first 2 profiled ladies!

Grace - It's easy to get caught up in the "work" of updating, designng, and keeping our blogs current. One of my favorite things about the #BlogCrush series is that I get to go back thru old posts and bio's and various things to portray bloggers as they are seen from the outside perspective. And thanks to you for writing such a great blog!

Ryan - There are a lot of quality "new bloggers" that fly under the radar, so I'm really grateful to YOU for your Top 10 Gen Y Blogs. I actually started subscribing to a few that I hadn't before and have been pleasantly surprise. As for the same old blogs that are "the best," I think a big part of that is that they have been around for longer, have built more of a following, and have created a reputation that precedes them. There are some bloggers (Penelope Trunk, for example) that I have in my reader and really TRY to love and crush on, but I just can't. Then there are others (Seth Godin) that I eat up.

I love Grace's blog and like you Elisa, I didn't find it until it started showing up on every other ballot or so for the top 10 Gen Y blogs.

Not just women though, anyone can extract tons of valuable information from Grace's blog.

Every time I read something like this I feel less insecure about the fact that there's so many new bloggers getting highlighted instead of the same old blogs (who are perceived by many to be the "best.")

Elisa, I'm blushing! Thanks for honoring Small Hands, Big Ideas and also citing such great information (that sometimes I don't even realize about my own content).

I'm so happy we could connect and you're very right--Irish/Italian (either way;) girls gotta stick together. Thanks again for writing this, I'm very honored :)

First of all, I love this concept, and I might just have to try it out myself! Also, I would definitely say that Grace is one of my blogcrushes too. She's a wonderful person, and a very talented writer. Great pick!
